Knitty Branching Out

I started on this pattern previously but never finished it because I didn’t think it look lacy enough. I cast on with a hank of gorgeous red Silky Wool a few days ago and have done 12 repeats so far. It’s looking a little wonky so far so I’m hoping blocking will transform it from a wonky looking scarf to an amazing looking lacy one. Oh, I love, love, love the yarn. Hope to finish this by this week so it’ll be my first FO in 2008!

Branching Out

This will probably be my last post in 2007 so I’ll like to wish everyone a happy new year!

The red is a lovely shade and the lace is looking pretty good. Great photo as always!

Your scarf looks pretty, even before blocking. Love the color.

That’s some seriously beautiful red yarn! Don’t you just love Silky Wool? I’m using it for a pullover and am super impressed with its blocking properties. Am sure your scarf will turn out amazing.

    That is a nice creation!

Its so rare to see people able to sew/knit/make/create anything these days.

Unless we take sec schs home econs into account…

Oh my, the color of your yarn is so luscious! And I think your scarf looks really pretty from the photos!
